ABOUT

Alwathba Consulting is one of the first income-generating establishments under Waqf Alwathba, an endowment fund established by HRH Princess Moudi bint Khalid Al Saud and dedicated to further social mobility and social development. Waqf Alwathba was set up to support Alnahda Society's programs and ensure its financial stability.

THE LOGO

THE SHAPE
Alwathba in Arabic means “THE LEAP” or “THE BIG JUMP,” signalling a desire for agility, growth and impact. The meaning is also reflected in the logo design itself, manifested in the gradation of the icon, which is derived from the Arabic letter “و” in Alwathba.

DESIGN
The dots on the letters of Alwathba are placed vertically as a symbol for data, as we strive to remain science driven in our approach to all questions, connecting decisions to evidence.

COLORS
The logo is composed of 3 colors, referring to our areas of specialty:
Needs assessment, impact assessment, data strategy and indicator design.
The red color in our logo is a reference to Alwathba’s relationship with Alnahda Society, and our continued commitment to advocate for inclusive policies, especially in serving the needs of women and lower income segments.

 RESEARCH & ADVISORY

NEEDS
ASSESSMENT

We work with our partners to determine gaps and define the demand for interventions. Prior to setting goals, the discrepancy between current and desired conditions needs to be measured and proposed policies or programs must be tested to confirm their relevance.

IMPACT
ASSESSMENT

We specialize in experimental methods to measure the effectiveness of policies and programs in achieving desired outcomes. We aim to generate qualitative and quantitative evidence to define, not only the change incurred by policies and programs, but also the associated perceptions and social outcomes.

DATA STRATEGY AND
INDICATOR DESIGN

We work with organizations to set a data strategy to enable constant assessment of performance and impact. The strategy includes designing indicators/KPIs, instruments for data collection, and setting analysis plans.
